What food and drinks are included during our stay?

Full cooked Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner.

Bottled water, Twinnings - Black, green or Peppermint Tea.

Coffee.

Note: If you are planning to drink spirits, buy before you visit Bunaken. There are supermarkets in Manado that sell different types of spirits and beers. Trufarm Supermarket has a good variety. Once you are on Bunaken the only option is Bintang.

What time is Check in and Check out?

Check in begins at 2pm but feel free to come over earlier if you prefer. Your room may not be ready but you can leave your bags with us while you take a walk around the island.

Check out is 11am.

Do you offer a laundry service?

Yes, we offer complimentary laundry and ironing service. Just put your clothing in the basket provided in the room.

What to bring to Bunaken?

Reef Shoes are the most important item to bring. In your room is complimentary use of sunscreen, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner as well as hand wash and body soap.

Do you take group bookings?

Yes, we can accomodate up to 8 Adults. Just book up and downstairs. We have some fold out mattresses if you are also wanting to bring children as well at no extra charge.

Are children welcome?

Absolutely, We have a foldable cot with quality bedding and a high chair. Just let us know before you arrive and we will have everything ready for you.

How do I get to The Whitehouse?

There are 2 options available. The first is the Public Boat. The cost is 50,000Rp per person (payment made in cash to the driver and travel time is around 50 min. There are 3 public boats and they all leave Manado around 2 pm. (some times a little later and depends on the tide) To get to the harbour from the airport you can take a taxi or Grab (similar to Uber) Expect to pay around 100,000 - 150,000Rp per car for this 30 min trip.

Departing The Whitehouse back to Manado, public boats leave at 9am. Everyday except Sundays. Drop off pickup / drop off point on Bunaken is only a 5 min walk from The Whitehouse.

Next option is take a private car to Rap Rap or Bahowo (depending on tide) The travel time from the airport to Raprap or Bahowo is around 45min. Then only a 20-25 min private boat ride directly to The Whitehouse. Cost for the above private transfers are as follows and cash payments are to be paid directly to the drivers.

Private car from Sam Raulangi Airport - Manado (MDC) to Rap Rap or Bahowo with private driver for up to 4 passengers is 250,000 per car.

Private Boat to The Whitehouse, up to 4 guests -  250,000Rp . 5 or 6 guests - 300,000Rp. 7 or 8 guests - 350,000Rp.
